We could not be more proud of our Year 5 pupils; Tomasz, Zofia and Filip. Yesterday, they represented Swan Lane at a Spelling Bee at Kings School in Worcester. They had a list of 100 words that they had learnt to spell. In the morning, the team went up against many other schools in the spelling competition and they finished SECOND! A truly amazing achievement.  In the afternoon, the team decided that Filip would take part in the individual spelling competition. There were tough rules in place - you had to sit on your own, you had to say the word, spell the word and then say the word again and if your didn’t then a loud horn blew and you were out. Filip kept his cool and stayed focused and he WON the whole competition! Tomasz, Zofia and Filip - what an achievement! We are so very proud of you!
